Ashley Cooke New Haven reviews
Stone Temple Pilots
"Ashley Cooke, one of my top favorite rock bands, will always remain in the world. The concert was excellent with the band playing some of the newer favorites and all the old ones. The transitions between songs were slow and discombobulated causing pauses in the show. The concert was a little less than energetic as Scott Weiland moved slowly across the stage. The value of the ticket is debatable, although the 90 minute set was entertaining. The band inviting their children on stage in the final moments was warm but not welcomed. I'm sure it is admirable to have a family, but we, the audience, do not have a personal relationship with the band. I want to see the fantasy that a rock band brings, NOT the humanizing traits. A good concert, but not great."
